Pogacar had spoken very highly of you on Sunday, and today he said you are going to be a great rider
“For me it is a great feeling to hear these words coming out of the mouth of the best rider in the world. It’s a great honor for me and I’m really happy about this as well.”

Was your plan for today to attack?
“Yes, of course. I knew I had a good leg but I didn’t know how my body would respond after the efforts of the last week, also because I had never done a big ride before. But this morning going to the signing sheet I realized that I had the right leg to center the victory.”
