Transfers 2025: Baudin, Chamberlain, Jansen, Narvaez, Simon Yates

New developments on the hottest names in Transfers2025. As we had already anticipated some strong riders could change teams next season, among them Britain’s Simon Yates, whose contract with Jayco-AlUla expires at the end of 2024. According to sources in La Gazzetta dello Sport there would be towards the 31-year-old climber a strong interest of Israel-Premier Tech. The professional team, by signing the winner of the 2018 Vuelta a España, would have on its staff a true podium rider in the Grand Tours, who finished fourth in the Tour de France last year.

A new team seems to be intent on putting one of the big names of this Giro d’Italia under contract. To be interested in Jhonatan Narvaez (Ineos Grenadiers) is not only Movistar but, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, also a battleship like UAE Team Emirates. The explosive Ecuadorian rider, winner of the first stage of the 2024 Corsa Rosa, next season could become a teammate of the phenomenon who is literally dominating this Giro, Tadej Pogacar.

Also expected to change teams in 2025 is Amund Grøndahl Jansen. The 30-year-old Norwegian, now at Jayco-AlUla, has had four very complicated and injury-scarred seasons, but he appears to have entered Uno-X’s radar for next season. A GCN source reported the news, thus confirming the high ambitions of the Scandinavian team with a Professional license, which this season has put important riders such as Magnus Cort and Andreas Leknessund under contract.

Decathlon Ag2r La Mondiale is working to hold on to its youngest and brightest talents. The 19-year-old Australian Oscar Chamberlain, who currently rides for the French team’s development team, will soon take the plunge and land in the WorldTour selection starting next season, according to GCN. On the other hand, Alex Baudin’s stay in the transalpine selection is not yet confirmed. The 22-year-old Frenchman, who is showing good things in the climbs at the Giro d’Italia, seems to be close to renewal, but there would be several teams interested in him.
