Transfers 2025, Tudor Pro Cycling on the shields: after Marc Hirschi, will Julian Alaphilippe be next?

Hot weeks on Transfers 2025 for Tudor Pro Cycling. In addition to the performances on the road at the Giro d’Italia, the Swiss formation’s attention in this last period has shifted a lot to the goal of reinforcing the roster in a major way for next season. In the last few hours, interesting new rumors have arrived at the hands of Gazzetta dello Sport about what will be the moves for 2025, starting with the move of Marc Hirschi, whose farewell to UAE Team Emirates to join Fabian Cancellare’s team is now being taken for certain.

The Swiss rider, who has been with the UAE-based formation since 2021, has specialized in recent years in continental level races, becoming in effect one of the best riders in UCI rankings perspective, as his always convincing performances are a guarantee of points that for a team like Tudor, looking for a move into the WorldTour at the end of the three-year period 2022-2025, are worth their weight in gold. Of course, for the winner of the Walloon Arrow, landing on the home team would also be an opportunity to get back on his own more even on the big occasions, in which in recent years he has often found himself serving as a luxury domestique to Tadej Pogacar.

More recent, however, is the news of the Swiss’s interest in Julian Alaphilippe (Soudal Quick-Step). The French outfielder, now in the final year of his contract with Patrick Lefevere’s formation, is one of the hot names this market session, and has already attracted the attention of several WorldTour teams, starting with Cofidis, even before he put himself in the spotlight with his victory in stage 12 of the Giro d’Italia and proved that he is returning the champion capable of winning two consecutive rainbow jerseys.

According to the latest rumors, the 1992 class has not yet made a decision on what his future will be. If initially an extension with the Wolfpack seemed to be ruled out, the performances of this last month have made it a possibility again, also thanks to a better climate in the team, but there is still no shortage of possibilities. It will now be up to the rider to decide where to race next season, evaluating among the many offers he has received, and among his options will be Tudor.
